I am on the Blue Fish myself. I know a couple of people on yours. Hopefully it suits.

That's my hope too.

Do you know how much time we have left in this system?

I would guess a few weeks, perhaps a month. It is rare to stay somewhere much longer.

[ That's a lot more time than he thought he'd have. ]

Where have you been to already?

In my time here? I have seen five systems. Only one other had this much civilisation, but most tend to have at least some inhabitants.

Are most of them as friendly?

Most of them, yes. There has been only one I've seen where the inhabitants were hostile.

Did they attack the ships?

Yes, they shot down half the ships. They were in that situation when I arrived in the Fleet, on one of the ships stranded on the planet. It was an unpleasant time.

Yeah, I bet.

I suppose we could always refuse to visit anywhere we stopped if it looked dangerous.

People can stay on the ships, yes. I usually don't, because they are tiny things and I have to be on them enough already.

I know the feeling. I'm not good with small spaces either.

Does it help if you spend time on the Iskaulit? It is bigger.

I do visit that ship a lot. It is far better for training, not to mention it has bars.

More often I will stay somewhere on the planets we visit.

Which one's been your favorite so far?

I am fond of this one, actually! There is much to do here and the people are used to visitors.

In that case, how about you pick somewhere we can meet? I haven't seen everything there yet.

It would be quite a challenge to see it all, but I can at least show you where decent coffee is made. I'll send you the location.

[A couple of minutes later Thor does just that, sending through a description of the third largest planet, which city, and the name of the cafe. It's deep Starstrikers territory, which of course means Thor's been there a lot.]

[This seems like the most straightforward way to note who he is. There aren't that many people wandering around who have eye patches.

Thor gets to the cafe at the appointed time and waits outside of it. Of course, this doesn't stop some of his fans from his hammer throw matches accosting him in the meantime and asking for photos, which he happily agrees to.]

[ Clark finds him easily: nobody anywhere is really out of his line of sight. Plus, he did say he has an eye patch, and the large man surrounded by adoring fans is extremely hard to miss.

Clark waits until there's just a few people left around Thor. ]

Next time, I'll queue up for your autograph. It'd be faster. [ Teasing. ]

[Thor sends the last person on their way with said autograph, turning a smile on Clark.]

Only sometimes - they all seem to find me at once around here.

[He sticks his hand out to shake.]

[The switch had certainly thrown Thor for a loop when it happened, only that was more to do with the fact that he'd been trying to break through walls at the time. He gestures for Clark to follow him into the cafe, a bright and airy space with the familiar silver and black colour scheme favoured by a particular team.]

Some of the things they serve here aren't exactly coffee, but they are similar enough to count.
